Subaru develops innovative vehicles, like the 2016 Subaru Outback and Subaru Impreza, that offer standout style, top-notch safety gear, high-tech features, superb comfort and an exhilarating driving experience. This tradition continues in the 2016 Subaru VIZIV-7 Concept, which could represent what the next Subaru SUV could look like.
Recently, Fuji Heavy Industries, the manufacturer of Subaru vehicles, unveiled this futuristic Subaru at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show, where it wowed spectators with its dramatic curves, crisp lines and unique head- and taillights. The VIZIV-7 offers enough room to comfortably haul up to seven passengers. With its ultra-roomy cabin, it’s safe to say that Subaru’s next new SUV that will be made available for purchase will be a large one.
“The next three-row from Subaru will be the biggest Subaru vehicle ever,” said Takeshi Tachimori, Vice President of Fuji Heavy Duty Industry.
The vehicle’s wheelbase is 117.7 inches in length, while its overall size comes in at a lengthy 204.7 inches. To put this into perspective, the VIZIV-7 is a little longer (0.8 inches) than the Chevy Tahoe. Other than the details listed above, Subaru has been mum on providing any further information about the vehicle. The automaker says they plan on introducing a new SUV to the U.S. market in late 2018.
