Outside, the sporty wagon gets wider grille openings and a brand-new bumper that highlights Subaru’s signature hexagonal grille design. The redesigned face creates a more refined and sophisticated look, but also enhances protection from stones and mud when the Outback ventures off pavement.
Subaru takes safety seriously and it shows in the 2018 Outback. Improvements include new options like Steering Responsive Headlights (SRH), making it easier to see at night. The technology allows the LED headlights to turn as the driver steers. In addition, Limited and Touring trims equipped with EyeSight Driver Assist and High Beam Assist automatically turn the high beams on and off, making the driving experience easier.
Across the Outback lineup, new premium materials have been introduced to help maximize comfort inside. A new center console, featuring an optional 8-inch touchscreen, makes it easier to reach controls. Upper trims, like the Premium, get new stitched details on the dash, adding a touch of class to the vehicle’s already eye-catching cabin.
