What's New For the 2020 Subaru Crosstrek?

The 2020 Subaru Crosstrek is currently ranked as one of the top 5 small sport utility vehicles. For the 2020 model year, there will be some minor changes. One of the changes for the car will be making previously optional features now standard. It will also include new LED exterior lighting, engine stop-start, and rear seat reminder features. The new 2020 Crosstrek is part of the second generation, which was first introduced in 2018.

Like the previous models of the Crosstrek, the 2020 version will have the high ground clearance for enhanced off-road capability. It will also have spacious seating for its size. The vehicle will also have a more comfortable ride quality as well as improved visibility.

Which Features are Available for 2020?

For 2020, the Subaru Crosstrek will have three trim levels, which include the Base, Premium, and Limited. All of the Crosstrek trims come standard with all-wheel-drive. A 2-liter four-cylinder engine will run them. The Base and Premium trims come with a standard six-speed manual transmission along with an optional CVT automatic. The CTV automatic transmission is offered on the top trim Limited model.

The Base Crosstrek has several standard features such as 17-inch wheels, roof rails, an infotainment system that comes with a 6.5-inch touchscreen and access to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

With the Premium, the vehicle offers heated front seats, an extra USB port, a leather steering wheel, and foglights.

The Limited trim is fully loaded with all of the available advanced features. With a Limited trim model, the vehicle comes with keyless entry, a power-adjustable driver's seat, an 8-inch touchscreen, and leather seats. It also comes with optional features such as a sunroof, a navigation system, and a premium audio system.

While this is average for the class, it still provides drivers with plenty of power and a decent amount of speed. This amount of horsepower can allow you to drive down roads with ease and quickness. Since it is a sport utility vehicle, it can be driven on rugged terrain and still provide a smooth and nimble ride.

One of these systems is Rear Cross Traffic Alert. This system warns drivers if traffic is approaching. It informs the driver of traffic that is coming from the side whenever they are backing out of a parking space. This system includes automatic braking to stop the vehicle if necessary.

Another system is Lane Keep Assist, which monitors the drivers' position on the road. It helps them steer back into the lane if the driver is accidentally drifting out of the lane.

The Crosstrek also includes pre-collision braking, which applies the brakes automatically if the vehicle is on the verge of colliding with another car if the driver doesn't stop the vehicle.
