The Subaru Limited Warranty is provided for new Subaru vehicles without any additional charge. Subaru warranties extensive coverage gives you peace of mind your new Subaru investment will be well protected.

What Is Covered by the Subaru Limited Warranty

The warranties cover repairs required to correct defects in quality or materials with everyday use:

• The model year of the SUBARU identified on the inside cover of the Warranty & Maintenance Booklet.
• Any SUBARU genuine accessories
• During the first 36 months/36,000 miles of operating the SUBARU vehicle, a one time only adjustment service is performed

Subaru New Vehicle Limited Warranty

The Basic Limited Warranty provides basic coverage for three years or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first. The warranty covers the entire vehicle except for exclusions listed within the warranty.

Subaru Lifetime Limited Seatbelt Warranty

The Seatbelt Warranty provides coverage for the vehicle's life, including seat belts and other seatbelt components that may fail during regular use.

Subaru Wear Items Limited Warranty

Coverage is provided for three years or 36,000 miles, whichever happens first. The items covered include wiper blades, clutch linings, and brake pad/shoe linings.

Subaru Powertrain Limited Warranty

The Powertrain Warranty is provided for all models for five years or 60,000 miles, whichever occurs first. The components covered are:

• Engine including the engine block and internal parts
• Cylinder heads and valve trains
• Oil pan and oil pump
• Timing gears, belts, and covers
• Water pump
• Flywheel
• Exhaust and intake manifolds
• Oil gaskets and seals

Subaru Hybrid System Limited Warranty

The Hybrid System Warranty provides coverage for eight years or 100,000 miles. Coverage includes repairs to defects in workmanship or materials for the following plug-in hybrid electrical components:

• Battery Control Modules and power control unit
• High voltage battery packs
• Hydraulic booster
• Battery control module
• Hybrid system control module
• Onboard charger and charger cables
• Electric motor and transmission assembly

Subaru Transmission/Transaxle and Differential Warranty

This warranty covers the following components:

• Torque converter and transmission/transaxle case and internal parts
• Transmission electronic control unit
• Seals and gaskets including axle shafts and constant velocity joint (excluding boots)
• Wheel bearings and propeller shaft
