After the success of the 2015 Series.Blue BRZ in 2015, Subaru has decided to release a limited number of 2016 Series.HyperBlue BRZ and WRX STI models in the U.S. The brand will produce a total of 700 WRX STI and 500 BRZ special editions, which will feature Hyper Blue paint jobs and interior trim, giving each one a distinctive appearance that can't be found on any other cars on the market today. Additional features are also available on both variants, enhancing their overall appeal.
The Series.HyperBlue WRX STI and BRZ will be hot commodities when they land on the market for the 2016 model year. Both models will feature a Hyper Blue interior design scheme, with the WRX STI gaining blue stitching on its Alcantra seats, steering wheel and floor mats, and the BRZ receiving Hyper Blue head restraints, leather seat bolsters, floor mats and accents on the steering wheel. The WRX STI will also come equipped with a 2.5L turbocharged BOXER engine, producing 305 horsepower, while the BRZ will sport a 2.0L BOXER engine, delivering 200 horsepower. In addition to this, the BRZ will come with the STARLINK 6.2" Multimedia System complete with SiriusXM Radio, Bluetooth, iTunes Tagging and Pandora. The BRZ will also gain a standard rearview camera for the first time ever - a beneficial feature for today's drivers.
A release date has not been confirmed for the Series.HyperBlue BRX and WRX STI, but pricing on each model will be announced in the fall. Standard 2015 BRZ and WRX STI models are currently on the market now, which you can check out today are Reliable Subaru.
