The 2016 Geneva Auto Show came and went, but not before Subaru had the chance to show off their brand-new XV Concept. Donning the brand’s all-new DYNAMIC X SOLID design language, the concept gives us an idea of what the next-generation XV Crosstrek will look like when it hits the market in the coming future.
The solid-bodied XV Concept is a stunning piece of machinery, exhibiting Subaru’s signature styling while incorporating the automaker’s new, innovative design language. Draped in a “Glacier Khaki Silica’ exterior paint color that gives off a fresh blue-gray tint, the model’s strategically placed character lines, hexagonal grille, darting headlights, and extended fender flares produce a sporty appearance and work together to embody the design expression “ Enjoyment and Peace of Mind.” In addition to these standout components, the XV Concept features a wide, low stance, matte-black cladding around the lower sides of the body, and orange accents on the front grille, aluminum wheels, bumpers and roof rails.
Further improving the XV Concept’s appeal are its aerodynamic performance, spacious interior and significant rood clearance. Topped off with a BOXER engine and Subaru All-Wheel-Drive, the model gives us a promising glimpse of what’s to come from Subaru and we look forward to seeing the final production model of the next-generation XV Crosstrek.
