Lace up your shoes, stretch those muscles and get ready to run! On Saturday, May 13, you’re invited to participate in the first-ever Hurts Donut 5k run starting at 10 a.m.

The fun run will kick off in downtown Springfield and is sure to be a hit with all who love the great outdoors, exercise and donuts. You heard right, at the end of the race, attendees will be able to sample a variety of donuts while enjoying a hot cup of coffee or a variety of other refreshments. Participants will also get to take home a race shirt and goodie bag.

Open to all ages, the run is being held to celebrate Hurts Donuts – a family-friendly Springfield shop that makes a wide range of mouthwatering donuts that are sure to satisfy even the pickiest of connoisseurs.

Admission is $35 for adults, while kids 15 and under can join in on all the fun for $25. Proceeds will help benefit the MS Society. Mark your calendar, gather your friends and get ready to have a great time at this one-of-a-kind run.
