Reliable Subaru is proud to partner with the Bark Yard! This fantastic organization serves as a gathering place for dogs and dog lovers. It includes features such as an off-leash dog park which sits on over 3 acres of green space with beautiful trees and walking trails, as well as a bar patio that offers a full menu of food, beer, and wine. The Bark Yard also offers doggy daycare and boarding services every day of the week!
Through the Subaru Loves Pets initiative, Subaru retailers have partnered with local animal welfare organizations across the country to impact over 230,000 animals since 2015.
Together with the Bark Yard, we’ve been able to host an annual Spokesdog Contest, which is up in October. We have also had the privilege of hosting pet adoptions here at our dealership.
As for local results, we’re happy to be able to say from:
- 2016 - 2019 we donated 35 supply kits.
- 2017 - 2020 we donated 20 new pet parent kits.
- 2020 - 2021 we donated $6,200.
- 2020 we "Stuffed the Subaru" with dog supplies for The Humane Society of Southwest Missouri
