On October 22, 2025, Subaru of America announced that Solterra EV owners now have simpler access to the Tesla Supercharging network, which features more than 25,000 Supercharger stations throughout North America. This improved access is enabled by the SubaruConnect app, allowing drivers of the 2026 Subaru Solterra EV to charge their vehicles using the app’s “Plug & Charge” feature. With this function, Supercharging stations automatically identify the vehicle and begin charging without additional steps.
The 2026 Subaru Solterra includes a built-in North American Charging Standard (NACS) port, making it fully compatible with Tesla Superchargers. Drivers of 2023–2025 Solterra models can also purchase a Genuine Subaru Accessory Fast Charging Adapter, which expands access to a wider range of DC fast-charging options.
Through the SubaruConnect app, Solterra owners can manage payment methods for charging and locate nearby stations using the Find Stations Map. The app also gives 2026 Solterra owners the ability to automatically activate battery preconditioning when using a DC fast charger. Thanks to this feature, the 2026 Solterra can reach an 80-percent charge in about 28 minutes, even in colder temperatures.
Offering an EPA-estimated range of up to 288 miles, the 2026 Subaru Solterra EV is available nationwide. To explore the 2026 Solterra or any other Subaru models, visit Reliable Subaru to browse inventory or schedule a test drive.
