The WRX comes equipped with either a 268-horsepower turbo-four with a six-speed manual transmission or a larger turbo-four that provides the power of 305 horses, also with a six-speed manual. A continuously variable transmission, which operates like an automatic, is available with the smaller engine only. Steering and suspension have been updated for the new model year and now provide a more athletic, dynamic driving experience.
