Performance

Both the Base and Premium trim levels of the 2022 Impreza use a 2.0L four-cylinder engine. As a result, these sedans can pump out up to 152-horsepower and 145 lb-ft of torque. The Base trim comes standard with a five-speed manual transmission, while the Premium gets a CVT instead. That is an available option for the Base. Both of these models come standard with all-wheel drive.

Appearance

For the Impreza Base, Subaru goes with 16-inch steel wheels with covers. The Premium trim level rides around town on 16-inch alloy wheels instead. Choosing the Premium will also mean getting roof rails for the Impreza, along with automatic headlights and LED foglights.

Features

Both of these versions of the 2022 Impreza are nicely equipped. When looking at the entry-level model, you find Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and a 6.5-inch touchscreen. The Premium trim level adds heated front seats and two extra speakers for the sound system. Advanced driver aids come standard for the Premium trim, as well as the Base if it has the CVT equipped.
