However, a new trim level joins the lineup this year, and select models of Subaru's first electric vehicle come at a lower price than before. What Are the 2025 Solterra Trims & Features?

The 2025 Subaru Solterra is available in four trims: Premium, Limited, Touring, and the new Touring Onyx Edition.

The Premium serves as the entry-level model, offering a range of convenient standard features such as wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, keyless entry and start, and smartphone-based remote access. Heated front seats and cloth upholstery come standard, along with an 8-inch touchscreen. On the exterior, the Premium trim features roof rails, LED headlights, an integrated windshield wiper de-icer, and 18-inch wheels.

Stepping up to the Limited trim adds LED fog lights, a power liftgate, and power-folding side mirrors. This trim upgrades to 20-inch wheels, synthetic leather upholstery, and power-adjustable front seats. Additional enhancements include heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, a premium Harman Kardon audio system, a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen, and a wireless charging pad.

The Touring trim includes all of the above while adding interior ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, a digital rearview mirror, and a panoramic sunroof for an elevated driving experience.

New for 2025, the Touring Onyx Edition introduces bold black 20-inch wheels and exclusive black exterior accents for a sportier look.

All trims of the 2025 Subaru Solterra feature the same electric powertrain, with performance slightly varying based on wheel size. The dual-motor setup, paired with a 72.8kWh battery, generates 215 horsepower and 249 lb-ft of torque. Models equipped with 20-inch wheels offer up to 222 miles of range, while those with smaller wheels achieve 227 miles. Standard all-wheel drive ensures confidence in various road conditions.

What Safety Features Does the 2025 Solterra Include?

Subaru equips the 2025 Solterra with a comprehensive suite of standard safety features, including emergency steering assist, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, forward collision mitigation, hands-free driving at speeds up to 25 mph, and automatic reverse braking.
