2021 Subaru Impreza Exterior

What's New For the 2021 Subaru Impreza?

Subaru's popular compact car returns for 2021 with just a few changes. The hatchback version of the Impreza Sport receives an updated rear spoiler with Crystal Black Silica accents. SI-Drive, which allows you to choose from various driving modes, now comes equipped on the Premium model.

2021 Impreza Trims & Features

The base Impreza is an excellent pick for budget-minded car shoppers. It comes loaded with a lot of standard equipment for the money. Subaru's Starlink Multimedia interface is a big highlight, which features a 6.5-inch color touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone support. Remote keyless entry and Bluetooth are also standard.

Drivers seeking more luxury can step up to the Premium trim. It adds a standard All-Weather package with heated front seats and a windshield wiper de-icer. Upgraded suspension dampers improve ride quality. Another key feature is the Impreza Premium's 4G Wi-Fi hotspot.

The Sport trim is designed for true driving enthusiasts. A sports-tuned suspension and Active Torque Vectoring enhance handling. To give the exterior a racier look, Subaru adds a rear spoiler and larger 18-inch alloy wheels. On the inside, you'll find upgraded cloth upholstery with red stitching and a larger 8.0-inch touchscreen.

Expect the range-topping Limited trim to have an especially plush feel. Some of its upgraded amenities include leather seating, a six-way power driver's seat, and automatic climate control.

2021 Subaru Impreza Horsepower

Every new Impreza comes equipped with a 2.0-liter, Boxer four-cylinder engine. It's rated to develop a competitive 152 horsepower and 145 lb-ft of torque. You can choose between a CVT automatic transmission with available manual mode and a five-speed manual gearbox. A standard Symmetrical AWD system gives the Impreza a clear advantage over the competition. Regardless of the road conditions, you'll be able to maintain maximum traction.
