What's New For the 2021 Subaru Legacy?

Minor changes are in store for the Subaru Legacy in 2021, which is not surprising considering that it had a significant refresh for 2020. There are some more standard features for the Legacy this year inside and out. Now, the Legacy includes steering-responsive LED lighting with low and high beams on all trims for better nighttime visibility. The headlights also turn in the direction that the car is traveling. The Legacy adds additional safety features, too, including a back seat reminder that notifies you if children or pets are left in the back row. There is also a seat belt reminder in both rows for 2021.

Which Trims & Features Are Available in 2021?

The 2021 Subaru Legacy comes in six trim levels. The lineup begins with the Base trim, which is followed by the Premium, Sport, Limited, Limited XT, and Touring XT. An award-winning safety package is standard on all trims. The Base trim has a satisfying list of amenities that includes power-locking doors and power windows. The Base trim gets a remote keyless entry for convenience and security.

Its technology includes Subaru's Starlink system with a seven-inch display screen and a multimedia system that includes Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and hands-free Bluetooth. You can select an alloy wheel package as well. The Premium adds a leather steering wheel and dual-zone climate control, along with two more USB ports in the back. The Sport gets black 18-inch wheels and faux leather upholstery. Heated seats, leather upholstery, and a 12-speaker sound system are added to the Limited. The Limited XT has a more powerful engine, and the Touring XT gets ventilated seats and chrome-accented trim.
