Running Dec. 5-7, this annual event is the perfect holiday gathering for art collectors interested in adding a few new elaborate pieces to their collection. The Juanita K. Hammons Hall for Performing Arts is home to the popular festival and its associated musical performances.

The Broadway rendition of the classic movie musical, "The Music Man," is headed to Springfield on Sept. 26 & 27 at Juanita K. Hammons Hall. Hosted by iconic actress Shirley Jones, the two-night event will co-star Patrick Cassidy and feature each unforgettable song and dance routine everyone fell in love with when the influential film debuted over 52 years ago. Complete with memorable scenes and fantastic musical numbers, "The Music Man" Broadway show is nothing short of spectacular.

Subaru is on a mission to carry out their recently unveiled "Prominence 2020" plan, and as a part of the fresh strategy, the respected automaker has decided to develop a new single platform that will be used on every model in their roster. A huge change for the brand, Subaru believes the use of one platform will help lower unnecessary costs, saving them a significant amount of money over time.

Saturday, September 6, is a great day to stop by Reliable Subaru, located at 438 Ingram Mill Road, just off of Chestnut Expressway and Highway 65. The dealership will be hosting an Unveiling Event to present the all-new 2015 Subaru Legacy and 2015 Subaru Outback to the public.

When Subaru officially announced that their midsize crossover SUV, the Tribeca, would be put to rest this year, there was no word as to what, or if, a new model would fill the newly opened spot. Many even thought the company would just move on with its current lineup; however, that doesn't seem to be the case.

Subaru's incredibly popular 2014 BRZ model has been officially rated a Top Safety Pick by the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety. Another stunning achievement under Subaru's belt, the honor is one shared by three other cars in the automaker's lineup, including the Impreza, XV Crosstrek and WRX. In addition to this win, Subaru has three 2014 models that have earned Top Safety Pick+ awards: the 2014 Outback, Legacy and Forester.
