What's New For the 2020 Subaru Forester?

The 2020 Subaru Forester is among the most popular sport-utility vehicles. It is Subaru's primary sport utility vehicle. In 2020, the Subaru Forester will have some new changes. One of the latest changes will include a new lane-centering function, which will be added to the standard driving aids. It will also offer an all-weather package that is now standard on the Premium models.

For 2020 there are five trim levels. Each of these trim levels offers many similar features that will provide consumers with an ideal driving experience. All of the models will include all-wheel-drive, a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, and a CVT automatic transmission.

The base model Forester is well equipped as it has many features that will benefit consumers. This vehicle offers a seating capacity of five people and includes push-button start, a rearview mirror, and 17-inch steel wheels along with all-season tires. With the base model forester, there is also a Starlink app suite and an EyeSight driver assistance system. This model also includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto compatibility, and a 6.5-inch touchscreen.

With the Premium trim level, the Forester offers quite a few upgrades. It includes a panoramic sunroof, 17 inches allow wheels, a power-adjustable driver seat, raised roof rails, and descent control. There is also an all-weather package along with heated seats, heated side mirrors, and a de-icer for the windshield. Along with these features, the Premium forester also includes a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot and a traction system. There are also six speakers in the audio system, as well.

A 2020 Forester also offers a Sport trim, which includes 18-inch black wheels, LED foglights, and an orange interior. It also includes a driving mode, a new X mode traction system, and paddle shifters. There are some additional upgrade packages that include an 8-inch touchscreen, blind spot detection, reverse automatic braking, rear cross-traffic alert, and a navigation system.

The Limited trim offers adaptive headlights, leather seats, and a dual-zone automatic climate control system. There is also a standard 8-inch touchscreen and blind sport monitoring.

In terms of the vehicle's top trim model, the Forester offers the Touring trim level. With a Touring model, the vehicle includes all of the features that the Forester has in all of the other trim levels. The vehicle also has a power-adjustable passenger seat, a heated steering wheel, heated rear seats, leather seating, and a monitoring system called DriverFocus, which helps oversee driver distraction.
