Kelley Blue Book has revealed the complete set of vehicles on their 16 Best Family Cars of 2016 list and we’re honored to say that the 2016 Subaru Outback earned a spot in the compilation. The wagon went up against 24 competitors to make it on the list and was praised for its cargo and passenger space, and first-class off-road capability.
A “Pure Red” Subaru Crosstrek Special Edition is scheduled to be released this spring, and when it does, a limited 1,500 units will hit the market. Subaru recently announced the upcoming CUV at this year’s Chicago Auto Show in an effort to get fans excited about its future arrival.
Our annual Celebrity Spokes Dog Contest went off without a hitch this past year, and we’re excited to announce we have chosen our grand prize winner. A loveable pup by the name of Nico was crowned the champion after receiving the most votes in our competition, making him Reliable Subaru’s official spokes dog for 2016!

Subaru recently announced that they are now offering free 3-year subscriptions to SiriusXM Traffic and SiriusXM Travel Link for car buyers who purchase a brand-new 2016 Subaru model equipped with navigation. During the three years, owners will also receive navigation software updates, courtesy of mapping data company HERE.

A new rumor surrounding the Subaru WRX STI suggests the car may receive hybrid powertrains in the near future. According to Motoring, an Australian automotive source, the company is currently in the process of developing two new hybrid powertrains that could find their way onto the WRX STI, lowering its emissions and improving its overall fuel economy which will benefit drivers.

The 2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek was recently put to the test in Cars.com’s Subcompact SUV Challenge, which involved putting seven different small crossovers through a rigorous course to determine which one outperformed the rest. Of the models tested, the Subaru XV Crosstrek rose to the top of the pack and was crowned the Best Subcompact SUV on the market.
